Merciless blitz on defenceless Gaza — growing numbers
of dead and injured
Victims 23 April – 24 April 2025:
50 killed — 152 wounded
Since dawn, Israeli air strikes and gunfire on homes, as well as medical and other facilities, resulted in the death of 50 residents and the wounding of 152 others, bringing the total number now killed in Gaza, since 7 October 2023, to at least 51,355, with the total wounded at least at 117,248. The daily average number of men, women and children killed in Gaza since 7 October 2023 is at least 90 and, that of those injured, is more than 207. A UN report states that, as of 14 January 2025, around 70% of those killed in Gaza were women and children.

West Bank
Palestinian Monitoring Group — Since midnight on 07 October 2023, Occupation forces have been imposing a complete closure around the whole of the West Bank, preventing people (even including permit-holders) from entering both Jerusalem City as well as Israel, other than for especially-negotiated exceptions. Permanent military checkpoints impose severe travel restrictions within the Occupied West Bank.
Israeli Army attack – 1 wounded: Jerusalem – 22:35, Israeli Occupation forces, firing live ammunition, stormed the city, searching a home and wounding a resident: Ahmed Mohammed Hammad.
Israeli settler attack – 8 wounded – arson and agricultural sabotage: Ramallah – 15:55, armed Israeli Occupation settlers invaded agricultural land on the outskirts of Sinjil, shooting and wounding eight people and setting fire to two motor vehicles and three agricultural facilities.
Israeli Army attack – 1 wounded: Jenin – Israeli forces continued storming the city as well ass the refugee camp.
Israeli Army attack – 12–year–old boy shot and killed: Jenin – 15:40, the Israeli Army, firing live ammunition, stormed the town of al-Yamoun, killing a 12-year-old boy:s Mahmoud Mithqal Ali Abu Al-Haija.
Israeli settler attack – arson – 5 wounded: Tubas – 22:50, armed Israeli Occupation settlers, firing live ammunition, stormed the village of Bardala, stoning motor vehicles, setting fire to tent-dwellings, livestock shelters and destroying crops. Five people were wounded as a result of settler gunfire. Three of those wounded in the settler attack and home invasions in the village were:Aboud Mu’ayyad Harish, Suleiman Arif Sawafta and Mahmoud Talib Sawafta.
Israeli Army attacks – refugee camps: Tulkarem – Israeli forces continued storming and opening fire on people in the city, as well as in the Tulkarem and Nur Shams refugee camps.
Israeli Army attack – 1 youngster wounded: Nablus – 13:05–17:15, the Israeli Army, firing live ammunition, stormed the city’s al-Masakin al-Sha’biya district, as well as al-Badhan village, wounding a 16-year-old youth: Qais Mahdi Al-Aidi.
Home invasion and demolition: Jerusalem – 08:00, the Israeli Occupation demolished a home in the Silwan neighbourhood.
Home invasions: Jerusalem – 03:30, Israeli forces raided the town of Qatana and searched two houses.
Home invasions and demolition: Bethlehem – morning, the Israeli Army demolished an apartment building in the town of Za’tara.
Home invasions – beating-up: Hebron – 02:20–03:30, raiding Israeli troops invaded homes in the town of Beit Ummar, severely beating-up and hospitalising a resident:s Sultan Muhammad Awad.
Israeli Army vandalism: Jerusalem – 09:00, Israeli Occupation authorities, in the Silwan neighbourhood, demolished the wall surrounding a home, as well as its gate.
Israeli police and settlers’ mosque violation: Jerusalem – 08:00, Israeli settlers, escorted by Occupation police, invaded the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound and molested worshippers.
Israeli Army population–control: Nablus – 20:35, Israeli forces took prisoner man, Hassan Kassab, when he reported, as ordered, for interrogation at Israeli Military Intelligence.
Israeli Army water crime: Hebron – 10:55, the Israeli Army destroyed two wells in the Khirbet Jamroura area of Tarqumiya.
Occupation settler terrorism: Tubas – 13:05, Israeli Occupation settlers invaded the village of Khirbet Yarza and terrorised families, patrolling aggressively among villagers’ homes.
Occupation settler theft: Nablus – 02:30, Israeli settlers invaded the outskirts of Bizzariya village and stole an agricultural tractor.
Occupation settler agricultural sabotage: Salfit – 10:35 Israeli settler militants invaded land, north of Kafr al-Dik, and vandalised the agriculture.
Occupation settler stoning: Salfit – 23:00, Israeli settlers stoned vehicles, near the western entrance to Bruqin.
Occupation settler vandalism of homes: Salfit – 03:30, Occupation settlers invaded Kifl Haris, smashing the windows of homes as well as motor vehicles.
Occupation settler vandalism: Hebron – 17:50, Israeli settlers vandalised the fencing surrounding land in the village of Susya, seizing and taking away part of the fence.
Occupation settler land-grab: Hebron – settler militants set up camp on land in the Masafer area of Yatta.
